Relaxing at Lark Cottage
Holidays are for relaxing and there is no better place to unwind after a busy day than the spacious and comfortable lounge at Lark Cottage.
Two large leather sofas and and comfy leather armchair ensure there is plenty space for everybody. The large television shows the countless channels that UK freeview and freesat now provides and a DVD/Bluray player gives scope for movie nights in. The room has underfloor heating and log burner provides additional warmth and atmosphere.
If you need space to work your laptop or send postcards back home, then you can do so at the writing desk that looks out into the garden.
Four windows in this room make it a bright location during the afternoon and summer evenings.
Bedrooms
After a long day of walking through the countryside, sight seeing or shopping, there is nothing better than a nice comfortable bed to rest and recharge for the day ahead. All beds have been specially chosen for their comfort with pocket sprung mattresses designed to help give you that perfect night's sleep. The rooms are furnished to make you feel at home, with TVs in every room and ample storage space for your clothes.
Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The very large master having both a free standing bath and separate shower; the double with combined bath and shower; whilst the twin room is next door to a further bathroom.
Kitchen
A well equipped kitchen is essential for those who love to create great meals or heat up easy snacks. With everything that you would expect at home, all you need to do is add the ingredients and of course the hard work.
Garden
The private garden, enclosed by a traditional dry stone wall and fencing has large lawned areas within which children can safely play or adults relax in the sun. In the summer, the border shrubs provide colour and texture to make this feel like a traditional country home. The gravel driveway is large enough to park four cars with space to spare.
